This gourmet pizza kit includes enough dough mix and pizza sauce to make 4 large 14" pizzas. Our premium dough mix is made with the finest tipo 00 pizzeria flour imported from Italy. Our high quality professional pizza sauce is made from the best D.O.P. Certified San Marzano tomatoes grown in the volcanic ash of Mount Vesuvius in Italy as well as the highest quality spices you can find. All of our mixes and sauces are prepared in Canada and contain no preservatives or added sugar. Our products are made with 100% natural ingredients, many of them organic, including Canadian wheat. You will be able to make 4-6 large crunchy gourmet pizzas in your own oven with this kit, or 4-6 smaller pizzas if you like a thicker crust. You'll never order take-out pizza again!
Crust Ingredients: flour, salt, yeast.
Sauce Ingredients: san marzano tomatoes, sicilian oregano, sea salt, anise seed, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, red pepper, black pepper.
Directions: For one large 14” crust pizza, measure 250g(375 ml) of mix and place in medium mixing bowl. Add 140g(140ml) of lukewarm water (26°-50°C,80°-120°F), filtered water is the best. Mix until well combined(about 1 min) If using a mixer with dough hook, mix on the lowest speed for 5 minutes. If you don’t have a mixer, hand-knead on a lightly floured surface for 5-8 minutes. Form a dough ball, lightly coat with oil, place into a greased bowl, cover the bowl and let rise for 30-60 minutes. If using a pizza stone, preheat your oven to 232°C/450°F for at least 30 minutes before cooking. If cooking a pan pizza, preheat your oven normally. When ready, simply stretch out your dough, add the sauce and toppings and cook in a greased pan OR on a pizza stone dusted with cornmeal for 18-30 mins depending on how thin you stretched your dough. Try not to open the oven during cooking.
